Description
- Title:
- Collection of items: A Christmas card sent with a parcel from Adolf Hitler, a German Distinguished Services Badge and headed notepaper from the 'Reichskanzlei'
- Summary:
-
The Christmas card is sent with a parcel from Adolf Hitler as an acknowledgment of the artistic contribution made by the recipient to a party held in Hitler's house, mentioning the fact that the present was taken out of consignments he had received from abroad, i.e. from occupied countries.
The metal-badge on a ribbon bears the Swastika on one side and on the other the figure “1939”. It was apparently bestowed on people who had distinguished themselves in the war against Poland.
Three sheets of blank note-paper headed “Kanzlei des Fuehrers der NSDAP” and “Adolf Hitler Kanzlei”.
